Required: Instagram username, language and five source creators. Everything else is optional. Nothing runs until you choose Start.

Who is the agent working for?

Instagram username (required)The signed-in Chrome account must match this username. No password needed here.Factual information (optional)Only true details the creator is comfortable sharing. Her voice is already set: friendly, girly and lightly flirty. Lowercase, no commas, at most one emoji at the end.

Edit your username and facts here in Creator setup. Language, countries, source creators and exclusions can also be changed in Language & targeting. Running hours are in Start the agent.

Automatic runs

Let the agent run by itself twice a day: a morning run and an evening run. Each is a normal ordered run (follows, then incoming DM replies) that starts at a random minute inside its window, while Chrome is open and Instagram is signed in.

Runs rotate through your five source creators, one per run, unless you pick a fixed one on Start the agent. Hourly and daily limits still apply. The evening run must start at least an hour after the morning window ends. A missed window (laptop closed) is not queued.

The agent works in one Instagram tab. Routine browsing runs directly; Gemini reviews messages and helps when controls are unfamiliar. Every follow and reply is checked before and after submitting.

The built-in reply style is applied automatically. Edit language and targeting

Pacing and limits

Uses your session deadline and spending limits. Unsuitable candidates are skipped. Fewer actions are possible. No likes or cold DMs.

Spacing: a few seconds between follows, 20 to 75 seconds between replies. Limits per run, per hour and per day come from your plan. They do not guarantee Instagram approval.

DM replies and follows all use the same signed-in Chrome browser.

What the agent can do

Answer incoming DMs

Automatically reply to unanswered conversations from Requests, Primary and General. No cold messages.

Replies are read, typed and sent in Chrome. Unknown facts and conversations needing a person are paused.

Follow relevant people

Follow people directly from your selected creator’s Followers list. Already followed, requested, excluded and previously handled people are skipped. No individual profile visits or demographic guesses.

Browser code follows eligible people from the visible list and verifies each result. Pending requests are recorded separately. Unclear results stop the run for review. English Instagram controls are supported initially.

Set Instagram to English

WinkView reads Instagram's English buttons and labels. On instagram.com: Settings → Language → English. Other languages are refused at the next step.

Sign in to Instagram in this Chrome

Open Instagram in a normal tab of this Chrome and sign in as the creator from Creator setup (your creator), 2FA included. WinkView never sees the password; it only works inside the tab that is already signed in.

Connect the tab

Click Find Instagram tabs, then Connect next to the tab that shows the right username. The badge at the top right turns into @username when it worked. Keep that tab open during runs; you can use other tabs.

What you installed

WinkView is the folder you unzipped (for example on your Desktop). Chrome runs it straight from that folder, so keep it where it is: if the folder is moved or deleted, WinkView disappears from Chrome and has to be loaded again.

Instagram passwords and session cookies stay in Chrome. DM replies and follows happen in your signed-in Instagram tab; there is no separate messaging connection.

Updating

Delete your old WinkView folder
The folder you unzipped last time (for example on your Desktop): drag it to the Trash. Your setup and history are safe; they live in Chrome, not in the folder.

Download the new one and unzip it in the same place
Same spot, same folder name as before. That is what Chrome looks for.

Then check the version shown here. If it still shows the old number, the new folder is not in the old folder’s place: repeat step 2.

Automatic updates arrive once WinkView is on the Chrome Web Store.
